Associated Sewing, Inc., 2000 > 2008 – PROOFS – 4-stores in twin cities & St. Cloud – Newsletters, flyers, brochures, ads. Associated Sewing often had a booth at the Minnesota State Fair and put out newsletters to a large group of quilting enthusiasts. Often, I was given copies of ads from her sewing equipment suppliers without having the original images/art. Sweet Adelines,1967-Present – PROOFS – In addition to the website, experience with Sweet Adelines International on both the musical and administrative sides has been invaluable in that it has provided the opportunity to coach and perform onstage in front of live audiences as well as experience dealing with all of the backstage and behind the scenes logistics. It also involves the dynamics of dealing with a large diverse group of women. I have served in both chapter and regional capacity.
  • Regional Musical Faculty member, 1980-1986, coaching choruses and quartets, planning and developing seminars. Managed the Regional Website from 2001 to 2006.

  • Since Unisys also used the Meta-4 application, it involved developing corporate standards and palletes, and an extensive library of equipment clipart. Later this library transferred to MS PowerPoint and was made available online for use by Unisys presenters.

  • Medical illustrations for instructors’ classroom pull-down charts, diagrams, and instruction manuals for the specific field of instruction the instructors wanted to cover at the time.
  • Drawing from actual animal cadavers
  • Copy work from veterinary manuals and altered to fit the classroom situation
  • Diagramming medical processes. [Dr. Anderson was doing experiments to see if sheep could get along without their 4th stomach and wanted parts of the removal process illustrated]
